Father Edward Lucero, V.F., has been appointed as the new pastor of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, effective July 1, 2018. Currently, he serves as pastor of Saint Philip the Apostle Parish in Payson. Father Lucero also served as pastor at St. Rose of Lima Parish in Safford, Arizona and Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Solomon. He began his ministry at Immaculate Conception Parish in Yuma, Arizona.

Fr. Lucero, 51 was born in Glendale, CA. He served as an NCO in the U.S. Army Infantry (3rd Infantry Division) and then earned a degree in finance from Northern Arizona University and an MBA from Arizona State University. He attended St. Mary of the Lake at Mundelein Seminary near Chicago, Illinois where he was awarded his Master of Divinity and STB. He has been serving in the Diocese of Tucson for ten years.
