Mass Time Change- From Fr. Edward Lucero
 Pope Francis has dedicated the  15th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops to be focused on the theme of " Young People, the Faith, and Vocational Discernment." It will be held in Rome this October 2018. Pope Francis wants the Church to respond to the needs of our young people. Our parish also needs to respond to our young people, therefore, we need to permanently move our Sunday 6:00PM mass to 5:00PM beginning on Sunday, September 23, 2018. With utmost attention to the importance of attendance to Sunday mass, this allows our young people to attend the 5:00PM mass and then participate in our youth program directly following the mass. This may be an inconvenience to those who only attend the late afternoon mass, but our young people need our parish to have a fulfilling youth program in this changing world. Thank you for your understanding as we begin to form our program.
